Cinctorres

Is a town in the region of Els Ports. Its main economic activities are agriculture and livestock farming, but its industry still maintains the handcrafted tradition

Blasco de Alagón founded the municipality in 1231 and later it was given to the Torres family. The name of the town comes from the Torres family coat of arms, which consists of 5 towers. During the Middle Ages, the village lived its period of maximum splendor and in 1691 it finally obtained its independence from Morella

In the village there are several municipal museums: "The Museum of the Faixa" and "The Museum of the Dinosaurs"

"The museum of the Faixa" explains how the Faixa (traditional costume) was one of the economic mainstays of the town. It also explains us how the faixa was made and distributed throughout Spain.

This museum has been developed thanks to the Ana fossil site found in Cinctorres.

Mirambel

The Medieval walls of Mirambel are very well preserved.

Once you arrive to this town, located in the Maestrazgo region, you will travel back in time, when knights and damsels walked peacefully through the streets.

Of particular note are the Portal de las Monjas, near the convent of the Augustines, the eminent stone porches and the old iron gates and the roof of the houses. We recommend you to end the day visiting the Town Hall and the church of Santa María.
